So I had originally purchased this Waist trainer in a 2X, I started out on the first hook moved to the second and then went to the third I had it for about two months before i felt like it was to big. So I ordered the size below, I wanna ask. I just got it in the mail a couple days ago and put it on today. It literally took me like 45 minutes to put this thing on🤦🏻♀️ (Didnt have this problem with the 2X at all) It is super tight but to be completely honest I can still breathe and I can still move around which I like. The difference between the 2X and 1X is crazy. I am 180 pounds and 5’3” tall and most of my weight goes to my stomach so if you’re anything like me and never wore a waist trainer before id start with the 2X even if you wear 1X shirts just until you get used to it! Definitely recommend this waist trainer I also like how it goes over the shoulders so it doesn’t give you any back fat
